Center for Military Families

The Center for Military Families is supported by the UTSA Institute for P-20 Initiatives.

The vision of the Center is to enhance the daily experiences of military families. The Center’s mission is the holistic engagement with the often-challenging circumstances families experience in military service, with particular attention to the well-being of military-connected children.

The long-term goals of the Center are to serve the military community through practical means, as well as through contributing to research and theory that aims to better understand how to mediate challenging circumstances in the lives of military families. The Center seeks to meet these goals by leveraging existing internal and external resources in a collaborative approach. In the process, the Center will become an integral part of the network of resources available to military families, and of UTSA’s infrastructure.

Support the Center

As part of our mission to the community at large, we are particularly proud of this center, dedicated to the well-being of military-connected families. As we currently operate at a deficit to UTSA’s Institute of P-20 Initiatives, we seek your support to help us providing valuable services to our military families. Please consider contributing to our efforts through a donation.

Your charitable contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please be advised that The University of Texas at San Antonio, as a State Agency in the State of Texas, does not have designation as a 501(c)(3) organization. Instead, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has ruled the University qualifies as a tax-exempt institution under Section 170 of the IRS Code.
