UTSA Offers FREE College Bridging Series for 9th-12th Graders, August 2-4, 12-3 pm, UTSA Downtown Campus

This series of half day workshops will help prepare students and parents for college success. Some of the topics covered will include selecting a college and major, financial aid, college and scholarship applications and essays. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and speak with current UTSA students. This workshop series is free and refreshments will be provided. U.S Department of Education Works to Combat Chronic Absenteeism in Schools
The White House and U.S. Department of Education have been shining a light on both the scale of the absenteeism problem in our public schools, and potential solutions through the My Brother’s Keeper Success Mentor Initiative and a national conference on Every Student, Every Day: A National Initiative to Address and Eliminate Chronic Absenteeism.
