Based at the University of Texas at San Antonio at the Institute for P-20 Initiatives, the emerging Texas Mentoring Partnership (TMP) serves as a non-partisan organization that seeks to galvanize a statewide mentoring movement, and seeks to provide the leadership and infrastructure necessary to create and deliver a strong mentoring climate in Texas.

The TMP network welcomes mentoring organizations in Texas K-12 schools, faith based organizations, community organizations, workplace and higher education institutions serving youth along the entire educational pathway of elementary school through college graduation.  TMP will ultimately lead to system change and expand quality youth-adult mentoring relationships driving increased support, achievement, and opportunity for young people, especially those facing the greatest challenges.
