Dreamrunners provides participating students with an opportunity to learn the value and importance of higher education and to experience college life by visiting the UTSA campus and attending a UTSA athletic event.
The program was developed by the Institute for P-20 Initiatives and the UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics developed to provide select San Antonio area elementary and middle school students with an opportunity to visit the UTSA Main Campus and attend a UTSA athletic event. Dreamrunners is funded through contributions from State Farm. Ten schools are pre-selected to participate in the Dreamrunners program.
